of the finest gentlemen to sit behind a keyboard...Brother Jack McDuff
from Champaign, Illinois played a rousing, funky mixed with hard-bop
and soulful blends of jazz. Began recording in the '60s with a cutting-edge
style that grew into one of the most listened-to albums through the
'70s, '80s, '90s up to the time of he left this world January 23,
2001.

track ~ "HOT BARBECUE", classic arrangement, featuring
Red Holloway (sax), Pat Martino (guitarist) and his protege Joey
DeFrancesco on the last track "ROCK CANDY", an over twelve
minute gig...each selection influenced by our host on the Hammond
